There are some great NRL games this week and we have NRL Round 3 betting tips, starting off with the Grand Final rematch between the Storm and Panthers.

Storm vs Panthers
Most of the momentum is with the Storm, who couldn’t have been more impressive in Round 1 when beating the Eels 56-18. They showed why they’re one of the favourites to win the premiership, and they’re good enough to handle the Panthers.
Penrith comes off a loss to the Roosters as big favourites, and they haven’t started as well as expected. They are +8.5 underdogs on Thursday night, which is a fair line, and we’re backing the Storm to prevail at home.
Warriors vs Roosters
It was good to see the Warriors produce an upset last week when beating the Manly Sea Eagles, and although the Roosters are tough to beat, the Warriors play at home in consecutive weeks.
That’s likely to help the home side, and with the Roosters still struggling with injuries, the Warriors get every chance to win as the $1.88 favourites in what should be an exciting game on Friday night.
Broncos vs Cowboys
The battle of the Queensland teams used to be exciting, but with the Cowboys struggling to produce anything, the Broncos should run right through them on Friday night.
The Broncos didn’t play well last week, losing to the Raiders as firm favourites, but they played better than the Cowboys, who suffered another one-sided loss. Nothing is going right for the Cowboys, and the Broncos should take full advantage.
We’re backing the home side to cover the sizable -17.5 spread.
Sharks vs Rabbitohs
Punters get another big line with the Sharks vs Rabbitohs. The Sharks are -17.5 favourites against the 2-0 Rabbitohs, but based on the Rabbitohs injury problems, the Sharks should take advantage and post a big victory at home.
We believe the Sharks are a good chance at posting a top-four position on the NRL ladder and beating teams like the Rabbitohs is necessary for that to happen. They’re a superior team that should score a comfortable win.
Dolphins vs Tigers
The Tigers scored a big win over the Eels last week, but repeating the dose against the Dolphins could be easier said than done. We fancy the Dolphins to win this week, especially with their best players returning.
Putting faith in the Tigers to keep winning isn’t easy, and we don’t trust them as $2 underdogs. There is better value with the Dolphins at $1.84, as they have a much better team on paper.
Titans vs Knights
One of our better bets of the week is the Knights to beat the Titans. We weren’t impressed with what the Titans did last week and the Knights have been impressive enough to beat one of the worst teams in the NRL.
Newcastle is capable of putting up plenty of points on the Titans, but we are concerned by the odds. We don’t know why the Titans are favourites, but take the Knights to win regardless.
Eels vs Bulldogs
It’s going to be tough for the Eels to produce the goods without their best players on the field, and that was evident when they lost heavily to the Tigers last week. The Bulldogs should capitalise on that and win on Sunday.
Covering a -9.5 line shouldn’t be too difficult for the Bulldogs, who are a genuine top-eight team. The Eels are likely to struggle for a few more games until Mitch Moses is back to his best.
Sea Eagles vs Raiders
Injury troubles are worrying for the Sea Eagles, who won big in Round 1 before losing to the Warriors last week. They picked up injuries to key players, and the Raiders are good enough to take advantage.
We have liked what the Raiders have produced so far, and getting $2.59 odds is a fair price from bookmakers.
Verdict
The Dolphins, Broncos and Knights are our best bets for the round.
