England Women are the side to back according to the odds, with the world's number one side fancied to go all the way and secure the trophy at their own tournament. 

However, after failing to secure the silverware since 2014, there will be question marks around their campaign. Indeed, New Zealand have won the last two competitions, with both of their victorious World Cup finals seeing them beat England. 

While the English arrive as the favourites and number one ranked team, New Zealand will have the edge mentally after the last two finals. They can also fall back on the fact they have won six of the nine World Cups that have taken place in a dominant run. 

Further out in the betting, both Canada and France will feel they have the chance to really ruffle some feathers at the competition. Canada are still looking to better their best finish which came back in 2014 as they finished second. 

Meanwhile, France will hope to finally appear in a World Cup final after finishing third in seven of the nine tournaments to have taken place. There will likely be a mental block heading into the tournament after their struggles making it to the showpiece final, but the French have been building well. 

Outside of the top four, it is tough to see any other side seriously challenging for the trophy. England, New Zealand, Canada and France are so much stronger than their opponents that the likes of Australia and Ireland will need to embark on one of the greatest runs in sport to upset them.
