England have been in irresistible form across their 2025 Women’s World Cup campaign, romping to three try scoring bonus point wins to top their group with ease.

Scotland were not able to deal with the firepower Canada brought with them in their final group-game as they slipped to a 40-19 loss at the hands of their opponents.

England have won all of their last 10 against Scotland in a superb run for the side.
England Women Form
England Women had top of the group in the palm of their hand heading into their clash with Australia, and they did not disappoint their fans as they eased to a statement 47-7 win over their opponents.
Their 40-point win over the Aussies has come alongside wins over the USA (69-7) and Samoa (92-3), with the home side in flying form with the ball. They now face a Scottish side they have enjoyed playing, with a 59-7 win coming from their last clash in the Six Nations back in April.
While Scotland will hope to pounce on any nerves from the home side as they look to win with the tag of big favourites, I cannot see anything other than a big win for the hosts. Incredibly, even their sole win by less than a 50-point margin across their last four saw them win 46-0. I back another comfortable win for the English.
Scotland Women Form
Scotland looked in good touch against Wales and Fiji, winning both matches to give themselves a real chance of finishing at the top of the group.
However, they failed their test against their first opponent of note as they slipped to a 40-19 loss at the hands of Canada. Like so many other sides at this World Cup, the difference between the top four sides and the rest has been laid bare.
While Scotland will look to draw on the possibility of humbling England at their own World Cup, it is tough to see them getting anywhere near their opponents, let alone beating them.
Verdict
I am backing England to romp to a big win as they hammer Scotland and move into the World Cup semi-finals.
