We have the latest Super Rugby Round 14 betting tips for two of the most important matches played this weekend. 

Currently sitting in eighth on the ladder with 24 points, the Waratahs are still in contention to secure a top six spot, but they need to get back to winning ways, and quickly. Frustratingly, the Waratahs have lost their last three games, with a 28-21 loss to the Reds seeing their worrying run extended. With five wins in 11 outings this season, the home side need to find something special to defeat an opponent that will be desperate for redemption this week. 

The Crusaders were nowhere near good enough last weekend as they were stunned in a 35-19 home loss to the Chiefs. This defeat brought to an end their four-game winning run, while it saw them miss the chance to leapfrog their opponents on the ladder. With the Chiefs winning, they moved four clear of the Crusaders, while victory for the Brumbies means the side have slipped down to third. If the Crusaders are to keep the top two spots in sight, they have to win this one, and I back them to do just that. 

The Brumbies have a huge chance to stake their claim on winning the Super Rugby regular season with just three rounds of the competition to come. Victory in this game would see them move above the Chiefs at the summit having played an extra match. They could also move further clear of the Crusaders if they win and the Crusaders drop points. Two consecutive wins and five wins in their last six is an impressive record heading into this one, while they have won their last four against the Reds. If the Brumbies continue in their current trend, the Reds will be blown away. 

Despite securing a 28-21 win over the Waratahs in the last round, the Reds have not been able to consistently win matches. Indeed, three defeats across their last five means the Reds have missed out on the chance to cut the gap on the top sides. With three defeats in their six away games in 2025, I back the Reds to miss out on a big win this week.
