South Africa could move well clear of the chasing pack in their qualifying group with a fifth win in seven qualifying matches.

While their win and three draws has helped them onto six points, meaning they are just two behind Rwanda in second, Lesotho cannot afford to continue to drop points. A single point from a possible nine in their last three is a poor run, while they have only scored once in this time, failing to keep a clean sheet in any of these games.
While Lesotho will hope that home advantage will play a part in this one, I cannot see them beating a far better opponent. Indeed, I doubt that they will get on the scoresheet in this one.
South Africa Form
South Africa have managed to steady themselves after an initial wobble in qualifying that saw them win once, lose once and draw once.
Since then, they have won their last three against Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Benin. The 13 points they have picked up means they top Group C with a five point lead over Rwanda in second. Another win in this match would further solidify their place at the summit with just three qualifying games left to come.
While playing away from home in a qualifying game is rarely easy, South Africa have looked strong of late, while they have won two of their last three against Lesotho, drawing the other. With clean sheets in each of their last three against Lesotho, I back the travelling side to notch a vital win with a clean sheet.
