Wellington Phoenix arrive for this one on the back of a frustrating 1-0 home loss to Macarthur in their last A-League outing.
Adelaide United were able to secure one of the biggest results of the season so far as they beat Melbourne City 4-1.

Wellington Phoenix began the season in solid style, picking up draws against Perth Glory and Central Coast Mariners, while they managed to beat Brisbane Roar 2-1.
However, they have since lost to Auckland FC (2-1) and Macarthur (1-0), with their last two home games ending in defeats by a one-goal margin. Their latest defeat left them languishing in eighth on the ladder with five points, seven short of the summit.
While home comforts should see Wellington challenge in this one, I do not foresee them ending their losing run. Indeed, they have lost their last two home matches, while they were beaten twice by United last season. With this in mind, I predict a third consecutive home defeat for the Phoenix.
Adelaide United Form
Adelaide United stormed to an exceptional 4-1 win over Melbourne City in their last match as they roared to all three points.
This win was their second successive triumph in the A-League, and it brought them up to third in the standings after five games. With nine points from a possible 15, United will be pleased with their start to the season, and they will target the Phoenix as a side they should beat this week.
United beat Wellington 2-1 and 3-2 last season in two impressive wins. They also boast two successive wins heading into this one, and I back the travelling side to make it three consecutive wins in the A-League.

I am backing Adelaide United to take all the spoils from this one as they win for the third consecutive time against Wellington.
