Amanda Anisimova notched a stunning 6-7 7-6 6-3 win over Naomi Osaka to move to within a single win of her first Grand Slam crown.

Amanda Anisimova has enjoyed a brilliant run at the US Open in 2025, accounting for two of the big names on the women's side of the game.
Her 6-7 7-6 6-3 win over Naomi Osaka in the semi-finals was an incredibly good result, but her best performance came as she dismantled Iga Swiatek in an unbelievable 6-4 6-3 win.
Anisimova has continually proved that she is fully deserving of her place among the best, and she now has a shot at the best player at the competition in the showpiece match. The worry for Anisimova will be that her incredible win over Sabalenka in the Wimbledon semi-finals was followed by a humiliating loss to Swiatek in the final. I back more of the same in this one as Sabalenka runs out the winner in a 2-0 triumph.
