Bangladesh vs Australia 2nd T20 Preview & Tips - Australia backed for successive T20 wins over Bangladesh

Australia were excellent in the first T20 against Bangladesh as they showcased their ability to deal with the pressure when chasing a smaller score.

Bangladesh have won four of their last 10 T20's against Australia, with the latter winning the other six. 

Bangladesh's batting unit all made starts, with five of their top six making it to double figures. However, a top score of 29 across the entire team saw the home side fail to really build a competitive total. 

While they did take regular wickets in Australia's chase, they could not put enough pressure on their lower order. While they did take six wickets, their final wicket came with the score at 129 after 18.1 overs when chasing 132 to win. Putting a team like Australia under pressure is difficult when a team is defending a low total and they cannot take enough wickets, and the home side paid the price for their lack of incision. 

The second T20 will see Bangladesh looking to put in a far more sound display with the bat, but their woes against Australia's bowlers will more than likely bleed into this match. Has the wave of momentum their 2-1 ODI series win over their opponents created already receded? 

Australia needed to be far better in the first T20 against Bangladesh after slumping to a shock 2-1 loss across their ODI series. 

Failing to bowl Bangladesh out in any of their three matches came alongside only scoring above 200 runs once. The first T20 may not have seen them post a big score, but they did at least bowl their hosts out for just 131. 

Cooper Connolly continued his impressive run of scores with the ODI series seeing him notch 35, 0 and 149 before he posted 47 from 27 in the first T20. I predict that he will continue to score with the bat as the Aussies secure a fourth consecutive T20 win over their opponents.
