Crusaders have been in good form this year as they look to repay the faith their fans put in them throughout their torrid season in 2024. Six wins have come from their opening eight, and they top the ladder at this stage. The Blues arrive sitting in ninth on the ladder with just three wins. Positively for the travelling side is that they have won their last two. However, both have been at home, with the side losing two of their last three away from home. With two wins in their last two against the Blues and six wins in their last seven, it is tough to see the Crusaders failing to win at home. 

After two excellent wins over the Crusaders (45-29) and the Waratahs (45-28), Moana Pasifika were brought back down to earth on the back of a convincing 36-17 loss to the Blues. Meanwhile, the Brumbies managed to notch a pair of wins over the Highlanders and the Reds. Currently sitting in third on the ladder, the Brumbies have really impressed, while they boast massive 62-36 and 60-21 wins over their opponents in their last two meetings. I expect another convincing win in this one. 

The Chiefs have been superb so far, bagging six wins in their opening eight matches, meaning they trail leaders the Crusaders by a single point. Of course, they do arrive for this one having lost their last outing against the Waratahs, but their three-game winning run prior to this has seen the side impress. The Highlanders may have picked up a win over Fijian Drua last week, but this does not take away from four consecutive defeats before this. The Chiefs boast four successive wins over their opponents, and while I expect a close game, I believe the home side will take the bragging rights.
