We have Super Rugby Week 7 betting tips for all four games this week, including the must-see Brumbies vs Highlanders on Friday night.
Hurricanes vs Waratahs
Money is likely to come for the Hurricanes, who enjoyed a week off last week, which should have them ready to fire in Week 7. The New Zealand Conference isn’t as strong as usual, except for the Chiefs, but the Hurricanes could start making up the ground.
They face the Waratahs on Friday, with the ‘Tahs coming off a 28-23 win over the Brumbies. It was a surprise performance from the Australian team, and I don’t think they can replicate that effort. Include the Hurricanes in your Super Rugby bets this week.
Brumbies vs Highlanders
There could be an upset in the making when the Brumbies host the Highlanders. Bookies have the Brumbies at $1.30 to win, and although they are one of the better Australian teams, they didn’t show that last week when losing to the Waratahs.
Looking to capitalise are the Highlanders, who could have easily posted a much better record. They have had many close losses, and getting $3.32 is a great price. Punters also get a +8.5 line, so there is good value with the Kiwi team on Friday night.
Crusaders vs Moana Pasifika
The Crusaders are showing why they can never be written off. They have scored some big recent wins, including a 42-19 win over the Blues last week, and the Moana Pasifika are unlikely to put up much of a fight.
The Pasifika showed good heart to make a comeback against the Chiefs last week, but going down by 27-30 points in the first half doesn’t make life easy. The Crusaders are unlikely to let them back in the game, which is why Super Rugby odds have them at -20.5.
I expect the Crusaders to have a significant edge, especially with home-ground advantage.
Reds vs Force
I’m not sure what to make of the Reds in 2025, but they are better than the Force and punters get a line worth taking. The Reds are -11.5 favourites at home on Saturday, and although the Force were far too good for the Drua last week, the level of opposition wasn’t strong.
The Reds want to keep pace with the top teams in the Australian Conference, and beating the Force by a big margin helps. I priced the line around -16.5, so I’m taking the -11.5 and including the Reds in my Super Rugby multis.
