Adelaide United continue to battle for the top places in the A-League. with United currently sat in fourth with 30 points.
Wellington Phoenix have slipped to the foot of the ladder after a torrid run of form has seen them fail to win any of their last six.

Adelaide United Form
Adelaide United settled for a point with Melbourne Victory in their last outing as they remained two points clear of their opponents on the ladder.
Their unbeaten run, which currently stands at three matches including two wins, means they arrive for this one full of confidence. Their opponents have lost their last two without scoring, while United beat Perth Glory 4-0 in their last home match.
With the sides above them all avoiding defeat across their last three matches at least, United know that they need to extend their own unbeaten run as they look to keep their hands on one of the top spots. With Adelaide's solid run along with their superb home record in mind, they are my pick to secure all three points with a clean sheets this weekend.
Wellington Phoenix Form
Wellington Phoenix may have improved on their 5-0 loss to Auckland in their 18th game by only conceding once against Sydney FC last week, but they were unable to score yet again as they were beaten 1-0.
Their pair of defeats has seen their winless run extended to six matches, with this streak including four defeats. Their awful run has seen them slip down to 12th on the ladder with 20 points. While they are only six short of Central Coast Mariners in sixth, their poor form means that it seems like a big ask for the travelling side to string even two wins together.
With just two wins coming from their eight away games this season, Wellington will struggle in this one. I predict they will look to prioritise defensive solidity against United, but I believe this will see them stretch their scoreless run to three matches in another defeat.

I am backing the home side to secure a vital win as they keep a clean sheet against their floundering opponents.
