Auckland FC were brilliant against Melbourne City in their last league game as they stormed to a 3-0 win.
Perth Glory could not end their winless run in their last match as their 1-1 draw with Brisbane Roar saw them extend their winless streak to four matches.

Auckland FC have won one of the three previous meetings between the sides with Perth winning the other two. Importantly, the side hosting this contest has always been the victor.

Auckland FC have rekindled their form of late, with a run of one win in six games making way for three wins and a draw in their last four.
Impressively, Auckland FC have beaten Sydney FC (1-0), Wellington Phoenix (5-0) and Melbourne City (3-0), while they took a point from Sydney FC on the road. Their win over Sydney FC was excellent, while a point on the road is generally a good result. Meanwhile, their stunning five-goal salvo against Phoenix and their 3-0 win over the reigning champions shows Auckland FC are finding top gear.
On their own patch, Auckland have managed to win five of their nine matches including their last two. While Perth Glory have avoided defeat in more games than they have lost on the road this season, I back Auckland FC to continue their excellent run as they cruise to a third successive win.
Perth Glory Form
Perth Glory have found goals and clean sheets tough to come by of late, with their last clean sheet coming in a 3-0 win over the Central Coast Mariners back on January 10.
Since then, they have failed to keep a clean sheet, only scoring more than one goal in two of their seven subsequent matches. Clearly, Perth have issues at both ends of the pitch, with this hampering their top six push.
While the travelling side did beat Auckland FC 2-1 when they hosted their opponents at the end of January, the form of the pair since then is like chalk and cheese. Perth are winless having lost twice and drawn twice, while Auckland have won three times, drawing the other. I see this match only going one way.
Verdict
I am backing Auckland FC to continue their excellent run of winning and keeping clean sheets as they send Perth Glory home with nothing to show for their efforts.
