Sydney FC edged to a 1-0 win over Brisbane Roar in their last match as they put an end to a three-game winless run.

Wellington Phoenix have been enduring a tough run in the A-League of late, with the side winless in their last five outings.

While Sydney's need for a win is clear as they try to battle up the ladder, I am backing against them getting the win this weekend. Sydney FC have struggled against Phoenix in their last four, failing to beat them. They have also lost five of their 10 on the road, and I predict they will struggle this weekend.
