Jannik Sinner has not been at his best across 2026, with the star yet to secure a Grand Slam crown this year. He has had to watch Carlos Alcaraz win the Australian Open before he failed to win the French Open, with Alexander Zverev crowned the champion.

Despite this, Sinner arrives as the favourite to secure the trophy in 2026. He was too good for any opponent last season as he notched his second crown in 2025. This came as his second Slam of the year, with Sinner sharing the four titles with Alcaraz.

This season, Alcaraz is missing due to injury, meaning Sinner is seen as having a straight run to the trophy. Novak Djokovic and French Open winner Alexander Zverev are the men seen as most likely to stop him, but they are a long way short of him in the betting.

Positively for the rest of the field is the fact that they do not need to worry about both Alcaraz and Sinner. For Sinner, he will not likely be afraid of any of the challenges laid out before him. He is the best player on the tour right now, and he will be desperate to ensure he secures his first Slam of the year at Wimbledon.

With four Grand Slam crowns in his trophy cabinet, Sinner is the man to back. Djokovic will be keen to secure his 25th crown after failing to win a single Grand Slam since the US Open in 2023.

Alexander Zverev will also be one to watch after securing his first ever Slam at the French Open this year.

Who do you think will win Wimbledon 2026? Can Sinner defend his crown, or will one of the chasing pack secure a stunning win?
