Karolina Muchova was in brilliant form in the Wimbledon semi-finals as she eliminated Coco Gauff in a meeting of stunning quality.
Linda Noskova proved too good for Marta Kostyuk in the last round as she swept her opponent aside in a 6-4 6-4 win.

The pair have only met once before, with Muchova battling to a 6-7 6-4 6-2 win over her opponent back in August of 2025.
Karolina Muchova Form
Karolina Muchova has accounted for a number of big names at Wimbledon in 2026, with the 29-year-old improving with each performance.
Her 7-5 5-7 6-3 win over Barbora Krejcikova in the fourth round was followed by a superb 7-6 6-4 win over Naomi Osaka. She then came through against Coco Gauff in a 6-2 1-6 7-6 win that saw both players hit incredibly high levels on the court. In truth, either would have been a worthy winner, with the quality of their rallies and shots of the highest order.
The one concern for Muchova will be any lingering injuries. It was unclear whether she was suffering from cramp or an injury to her rib late in the third set. If it was an injury then that will see the margins between the pair shrink. However, if Muchova arrives and can get into a groove, then I back her to secure her first ever Grand Slam this weekend.
Linda Noskova Form
Linda Noskova has also enjoyed an exceptional run at Wimbledon this year, with a shot at the trophy in 2026 one she would not likely have dreamed of just under two weeks ago.
Like Muchova, Noskova has accounted for a number of big names having knocked out Madison Keys, Elise Mertens and Marta Kostyuk. Her clash with Kostyuk was one that she cruised to the win in, with a 6-4 6-4 victory ensuring she would contest the Wimbledon final this year.
The pair have only met once before, meaning there will be no real scars for one of the players regarding a poor record. Noskova has shown she has what it takes to compete on grass, but I do not see her doing enough to beat Muchova as she misses out on the trophy in London.
Verdict
I am backing Muchova to claim her first ever Wimbledon crown as she secures a 2-1 victory.
