The 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season will begin in February as the Highlanders host the Crusaders in the opening clash of the new campaign.
Ahead of the new season, the Crusaders are the reigning champions after winning the grand final in 2025, but they are not currently the favourites as we hurtle towards the opening weekend.
You can see the latest Super Rugby grand final winner betting odds in the table below.
| Super Rugby Grand Final Winner | Odds |

| Brumbies | 15.00 |

| Rest of the field | 17.00+ |
Super Rugby 2026 will bring all of the huge hits, stunning tries and controversial moments we have come to expect from one of the premier rugby competitions in the world.
Ahead of the new season, the Crusaders arrive at 3.50 to secure the crown after beating the Chiefs 16-12 in the grand final last season.
Despite losing in the showpiece event, the Chiefs arrive as the slight favourites at 3.25. The Chiefs stormed to the minor premiership as they topped the ladder in 2025 with 51 points, two ahead of the Crusaders in second.
The Hurricanes are the only other side available below 10.00 ahead of the start of the tournament. They are then followed by the Brumbies, Highlanders and Reds.
Meanwhile, Fijian Drua, the Waratahs and Western Force are the underdogs, with Moana Pasifika huge outsiders.
The beauty of Super Rugby has always been that any side can beat any other team on their day. While the Chiefs and the Crusaders are the favourites ahead of the start of the competition, a handful of poor performances could see them slip down the ladder and the betting.
The opening weekend will see champions the Crusaders travelling to take on the Highlanders, while the Chiefs face a tricky trip to take on the Blues.
While one weekend will not giveaway a huge amount, it may allude to what we will likely see across the season.
Can the Crusaders secure the trophy once again, or will one of their rivals scoop the big prize in 2026?
